Donate to Support Maggie's Programs & Services!

We're building a movement for sex worker justice.

We're thrilled to launch a series of new funds that allow supporters to make a targeted contribution to our work for sex worker justice across Toronto & the GTA! The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally altered our existing programs, resources and supports, requiring our organization to step in to meet the needs of sex workers left behind by the provincial pandemic response plan. We've launched our largest fundraising effort to date to provide mutual aid funds, emergency food boxes, extended legal and counselling supports as well as culturally specific programming for Black and Indigenous sex workers. The overwhelming support we've received from community, partner organizations and collaborators has been heart-warming, and has allowed us to expand our work to include a number of exciting new supports for sex workers across Toronto and the GTA! We rely on the generosity of donors like you to support our movement for sex worker justice. Our donations are split into campaigns that allow you to make a targeted contribution to one of our programs or services. Our donations page now includes the following options to support our work through one-time or monthly contributions!

  • These funds go directly to Black sex worker mutual-aid fund providing grants to Black SW impacted by the pandemic across Toronto and the GTA. This is the 2nd instalment of our COVID-19 Sex Worker Emergency Survival Fund that we're diverting to Black providers in recognition of the toll of the pandemic and the impact of anti-Black racism on Black providers.

  • Our Emergency Food Box Initiative is an ongoing partnership with Foodshare Toronto delivering their Good Foodboxes to local SW on a bi-weekly basis. Sign up for foodboxes by connecting with us at info@maggiesto.org or help expand/sustain our program by donating!

  • Our outreach program is about meeting community where they're at. As we look to expand our outreach efforts from street outreach in Toronto's downtown east end to indoor venues and extended routes, we use this fund to cover the costs of outreach materials and supplies, supports for our peer outreach workers on the job and other program-related expenses.

  • Our Leadership and Development fund allows us to invest in community leadership and development opportunities through various SW-led trainings, workshops and other program-related expenses.

  • Our scholarship fund supports SW through their various educational pursuits. Maggie's scholarships celebrate the history of our founders, past and present community members and icons in our movement for SW justice.
